If someone told Cas that he had a soul mate before his senior year of high school, he would have told them that they were lying. He didn’t really believe that there was someone out there for him. There were more than 7 billion people on the planet, and Cas knew that even though there were so many options, his odds of finding “The One” were virtually nonexistent. So through high school he kept to himself in terms of a love life and he didn’t really seek out any relationships. He spent the nights when there were school dances home playing videogames. Sure he had a few friends that he would invite over to play games with, but they always lost, so they tried to get Cas out to do different things.
